We are pleased to announce that NAMSA—the world’s leading medical device contract research organization specializing in safety evaluations—has acquired a controlling interest in Alquest.  Combined, Alquest and NAMSA bring an expanded offering including regulatory and quality consulting, preclinical and clinical services to medical device, in vitro diagnostic, biologic and combination product manufacturers.  Together, we are accelerating innovation by providing experts in virtually every therapeutic area including cardiovascular, orthopedic, ophthalmic, urology, wound healing, neuromodulation, IVD, gastroenterology and combination products.  We will jointly work with clients to define a clear path to regulatory approval worldwide with a comprehensive array of services supporting the entire product development process to help save you time and money.   

Please be assured that: 

  • Alquest’s management team and consultant staff will stay intact.  The working relationships clients currently enjoy with Alquest personnel will not change as a result of this acquisition, nor will it impact current projects.
     
  • Both companies are financially stable and have been for many years.  Despite the recent economic conditions, both companies continue to grow and expand services across a broad spectrum.  The melding of our combined strengths puts us in a position to more completely advance client objectives.
     
  • We do not anticipate any immediate change in the way we work with clients.  We plan to provide more details soon regarding the convenient access you will now have to a broader array of expertise and service.
