Alquest, Inc. − The Specialized CRO™ − was founded in Minneapolis, MN in 1993 by Linda Alexander as a consultancy and resource to medical device companies. Having worked in device companies large and small, Alexander discovered the challenge and frustration of managing multiple independent consultants. She observed that many consultants work alongside each other in isolation of themselves, and too often in isolation of the company’s business strategy.Alexander’s solution - manifested today in Alquest - was to provide a single-stop, coordinated resource for device companies requiring clinical, regulatory and compliance support. The Alquest model provides essential development skills and expertise under one roof. In selectively hiring talented consultants, practitioners and executives, Alexander has created a company culture that emphasizes “getting it right, and getting it done.”
Today, with a full-time salaried staff of 55, Alquest maintains offices in Minneapolis and the San Francisco Bay area. The firm’s clientele is worldwide, from Australia, Asia, Canada and the EU. Having supported more than 400 device firms since its inception, Alquest enjoys a well earned reputation for quality, responsiveness and driving hard to achieve clients’ milestones.
