Ann previously held clinical, regulatory and marketing positions with Cardiac Pacemakers (Guidant), American Medical Systems and Kallestad Diagnostics. During her career, Ann established worldwide regulatory and clinical strategy and requirements definition for cardiovascular, interventional vascular, urological and IVD products. Ann earned a B.S. degree in medical technology from the College of St. Benedict, and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. |

Linda Alexander Linda Alexander founded Alquest, Inc. in 1993 after working in management and director-level positions in regulatory and clinical affairs for Brennen Medical, Bioplasty and Medtronic. During her career, Linda has established worldwide regulatory and clinical strategy and requirements for over 50 devices, including cardiovascular, audiology, interventional vascular, dental, neurovascular, orthopedic, plastic surgery, general surgery, neurology, gastroenterology and urology devices. She earned a B.S. degree in biology and chemistry from Iowa State University, and a M.S. in Technical Communication from the University of Minnesota. |

Elizabeth Kempen Elizabeth Kempen joined Alquest in 2000 from Applied Biometrics, where she served as Vice President of Quality, Regulatory and Clinical Affairs. She previously held management and staff positions with Bio-Vascular, Cardiac Pacemakers (Guidant), the University of Minnesota and INCSTAR. During her career, Elizabeth has established worldwide regulatory and clinical strategy and requirements definition for cardiovascular, interventional vascular, urological, biological, and IVD products. She earned a B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin in Microbiology/Public Health and a MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. |

Alan Alexander Alan Alexander joined Alquest as CFO in 1994. During his career Al has coordinated numerous projects across regulatory, clinical, engineering, manufacturing and marketing departments. He also has managed the technical relationship between an OEM developer and their Fortune 500 customer for a Class III implantable system. Al has in-depth experience and knowledge of orthopedic and spinal device requirements, including bone growth factors, and cardiac ablation. Al earned a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York, and a M.S. degree in Engineering and Continuum Mechanics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute. |

Marti Charpentier Marti Charpentier joined Alquest in 2004. He brings more than 25 years of experience in finance, accounting, information systems and management from a variety of industries, most notably the computer software services sector. Marti previously worked as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer for Analysts International Corp., where he progressed from the rank of Corporate Controller-Assistant Treasurer. His background in accounting and treasury includes stints with P.J. King Corp., Best Products, Inc., and Dyco Petroleum. Marti also spent five years in public accounting as an auditor and audit supervisor for Deloitte & Touche, LLC. He earned a B.S. summa cum laude from the University of North Dakota and is a registered CPA. |

Jim Moat Jim Moat, CCRA, joined Alquest in 1999 from Boston Scientific/Scimed where he held management and CRA positions in clinical- and post-market research. Jim’s roots are in cardiovascular therapies and electrophysiology. While at Boston Scientific, he earned Stent Leadership Recognition. During his career Jim has written clinical reports for four PMA submissions, numerous clinical investigational protocols, case report forms and training materials. He also has implemented IDE and post-market single and multi-center trials for numerous medical products. Jim began his career in 1986 as a medical technologist in the cath labs of Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, where he advanced to Assistant Chief Cardiovascular Technologist. Jim earned a B.A. degree in biology from Moorhead State University. |

Jill Visor Jill Visor joined Alquest in 2004. A highly accomplished medical device executive, she oversees Alquest’s growing presence in the San Francisco Bay Area. Jill joined Alquest from Boston Scientific where sheserved as Director of Enteryx Clinical Research. Previously Jill served as Vice President, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs for Enteric Medical Technologies; Senior Manager of Clinical and Regulatory Affairs for Metra Biosystems; Senior Development Scientist for Dade-Behring Diagnostics; and Raw Material Chemist for Monoclonal Antibodies, Inc. Jill earned a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Florida State University and a M.S. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Florida. |
Tom Huyck Tom Huyck joined Alquest in 2005. Prior to joining Alquest, Tom was Marketing Manager for Mayo Medical Laboratories and Mayo Central Laboratory for Clinical Trials. He also spent six years with Mayo Clinic’s public affairs unit managing projects in support of the Clinic’s national and international marketing initiatives. Prior to Mayo, Tom was a marketing firm account manager serving international manufacturing clientele in structurally-engineered industrial products. Tom earned a bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University, and an MBA from the University of St Thomas. |

An Liu Director, Biostatistics & Data Managementt An Liu comes to Alquest via Medtronic’s Division of Cardiac Rhythm Disease Management where he had been statistics manager and principal statistician. In that role he interacted with FDA statistical and medical reviewers to negotiate appropriate study designs. He also reviewed, approved and authored numerous regulatory submissions, manuscripts, marketing materials and other publications. In addition to being an independent consultant, An also worked in biostatistics for Medtronic’s Gastroenterology and Urology Division, 3M Pharmaceuticals and the VA Center for Chronic Disease Outcomes Research. An Liu is working toward a Ph.D. degree in biostatistics at the University of Minnesota, from which he earned a M.S. in biostatistics. He holds a M.S. in Environmental Biology from Peking University and a B.S. in Ecology from Nankai University. |
